Koposan (aka Jacopo Solari) is an Italian-born music producer based in Berlin.

He began his musical journey with metal guitar before transitioning to jazz and improvisation, studying jazz guitar in Rome. During his PhD in Physics in Amsterdam, he got hooked on electronic music production and fell into Gear Acquisition Syndrome (GAS). The following years were a joyful cycle of work, buying gear while studying electronic music composition, sound design, and arrangement.

After completing his PhD, he moved to Berlin, drawn by love and the city’s vibrant music scene. While diving more into the melodic side of Techno, he honed his mixing and mastering skills aiming for a powerful yet musical sound. Inspired by artists like Anyma, Innellea, Massano, and Four Tet, he now focuses on Melodic Techno, blending influences from the UK Electronic Dance Music scene.

Koposan’s music is a unique mix of energetic dance rhythms and melodic textures, shaped by his diverse musical background. He’s also an excellent pasta cook.
